The Exo turned his head towards the now fleeing vandal, then began to persue. He rushed after the other, putting himself lower to the ground and jinxing left and right with each step. As he came in close, his hand's shout out to grab at the alien's upper arms, trying to get a hold of it by the bicep's, to pull it in for a brutal headbutt. Xeno-armor against freshly-restored metal-skull, a risky maneuver.

The Vandal raised its shock rifle and fired a few wild shots, but the Exo was too close for them to track him. Having successfully closed the distance, he then made the questionable call to headbutt his armored opponent. A blast of static took over his vision, leaving him dazed for a moment as his optics re-focused.
Thankfully the Vandal was only faring slightly better. If the Exo hadn't grabbed his arm he'd have pulled back reeling in pain and confusion. Instead he was left tugging ineptly at the Exo's metallic grip.
Noise from behind indicated the other Vandal was starting to stir, though there was still time before it needed to be handled.

With his head reeling, the Exo focused on the simple facets of his current predicament; the alien in his arms, and the immediate need to remove that threat before another appeared behind him. With his grip on the alien's upper arms, he yanked down on it hard, trying to bend it over and bring it's face down to meet his rising knee; if this worked, he'd release it and bring his fists up and together, to slam down onto it's back, where the shoulders and spine intersected. Even with the other stirring , he was focused on eliminating this threat first.

The Vandal was still shaking off the headbutt, and given the Exo's unhelmeted state the last thing it expected was the instant follow-up. Yanked toward the ground, its face instead met a different, harder surface in the form of a knee. It went reeling, the rifle dropping to the ground at it's feet as two fists collided into it's spin. There was a crash as it flew into a nearby shelf, wood and bone breaking together as the alien crumpled onto the ground.
"It's up!" The Ghost warned, giving the Exo just enough time to re-gather his focus before having to deal with the remaining Vandal.

The warning buzzed in his ears, and the Exo spun in place to face the now rising Vandal. His vision swam at the motion, but the rush of adrenaline (or the electrical equivalent) kept him sharp enough to move. He rushed the Vandal, and led with his elbow, aiming todrive it into the Vandal's chest; if it worked as intended, it would be winded again, an he'd be able to grab it around the head and yank hard, over his body and into the ground. Though of course, his brutal style was starting to take it's toll.

The Vandal was still steadying it's feet beneath it as the Exo turned toward it. He was even able to drive his elbow into the Vandal's chest before it could react, though it didn't have the desired effect. The lower arms reached to grab the elbow and hold it close. The others went for the Exo's own skull as the Vandal tried to use his momentum against him and drag him toward the ground.

With a grunt of surprise, the Exo went down with the Vandal, feeling the too-long fingers grasping at the metal plates of his skull. As his back hit the ground, one leg curled up to his chest, and he tried to drive his foot up and into the alien's stomach, trying to push it off before it could settle atop him and trap him beneath dead weight. Despite the situation, there was a almost joyful expression on what could be seen of his face, a battle lust being sated now that his opponent fought back.

The Vandal got a kick in before the Exo retaliated in turn. Metal crunched against metal and the fallen staggered back, hands lowering over its gut in pain with a squawk. Taking a single look at the downed Exo, it looked to the crumpled remains of it's friend and decided to try and make a run for the door.

With a pained groan, the Exo made no move to get up, trying to regain it's sense of balance in the moments directly following the departure of the Vandal from on top of him. His awareness expanded to the room's contents as the Vandal began to flee, and he quickly shot his hand's down to grab his secured rifle, tearing the sling to bring it up. He took aim and fired a burst at the Vandal's back, trying to take it down before it could run.

With a final croak, the Vandal crumpled halfway through the door. "Good shot." The Ghost complimented. "Now let's get moving. The sooner we can get out of here the better. I believe their raid may be clearing up, but that doesn't make it any less dangerous to be here right now."
There was a front and back door, with the front leading back to the street they had come in from. The back was an unknown though there weren't likely any other fallen behind it given the lack of response to the noise the fight had caused.

Lowering the rifle with another groan, he rolled onto his front and got up into a kneel, shaking his head to try and clear it. The Exo then extended his hand, looking at his open palm. "Damage Assessment?" he asks of it, feeling the pangs and pains of the scuffle in his core as he flexed his fingers. While the Ghost responded, he rose to his feet and made his way to the door, cracking it open and hair and peering through.

"Minor damage to your casing. Most internal damage is to your head and that's mostly self-inflicted. I brought you back from the dead though, this is nothing. Give me a little while to work and I'll have you fixed up."
The door lead to a back lot, one that fed into multiple nearby buildings and even let out into some back alleys. The cover the Ghost had mentioned prior to the fight was in spades here, and they would likely be able to cross the entire block in peace.

"Understood. Proceed." he says to the ghost as he begins moving forwards. He didn't bother with most of the cover, rushing ahead and staying low; only if the there was the sound of a approaching ship, or someone (or something) approaching the alley would he duck into cover, and even then, only long enough to ensure he wasn't spotted. Most of his effort was in moving forwards, rifle up and ready for any danger that approached.

Another ship rumbled over just as he entered the alley, hanging over the street they had left behind. "I think they're here for those Vandals." The Ghost commented. "I'd keep moving, we don't want to be caught out here. I'll keep an eye on nearby motion for you."
Thankfully the alley was well-shaded and with only some care they would be able to keep out of sight. The alley eventually opened to another street, the buildings for now keeping them out of sight from the skiff. "There. Across the street and to your right." The directions were hardly necessary, even burned down the hangar was obvious.

Sparing only a brief glance to the skiff, the Exo moved ahead, exiting the alley. The directions kept him from having to stop, and he rushed across the street to the hangar, going for the nearest entrance. He'd hit the frame and pause, peeking inside to ensure it was clear, before moving in.
"Once we have a way out, what's next?" he asked it in a quiet voice, scanning the interior from behind his rifle.
