"I'll set us on a course out of London and back to the City. You won't have to worry about a thing. Your biggest priority though is to find us a way out of here." The Ghost spoke, disengaging from the Exo's side and starting to drift toward some of the ships that were contained within.
Many were rusted over, broken heaps that had been scrapped for parts or worse. Some were in one piece though, so long as they still had any power to them there was some hope of getting out. There were three that seemed in decent condition, a steel colored one, and two rust-colored jumpships toward the back.
"There's movement. Outside. We should find one that works now. I think the skiff may have found your friends." It turned, darting toward one of the rust colored ships and starting to scan it.

"Which city would that be?" he mused as the Ghost detached from him, watching it float away. He then moved forwards and slid behind a old barrel, crouching down and taking aim at the door. He carefully glanced over his shoulder, watching it work for a moment before looking to the door.
"I'll keep you covered. First one operational, get to work. If none do, we move on." he calls over his shoulder, racking the slide of his weapon.

"The City. The last one still held." The Ghost flit around for a moment longer, beam scanning the ship. "This won't do." It finally announced, moving on to the steel one and beginning scans of it.
As the Ghost ran its scan, noise started to build at the doors and a Dreg poked its head in. It clearly didn't see the Exo right away, though it would catch sight of the Ghost fairly quick and duck back out.

Pre-occupied by the conversation with the Ghost, the Exo was in prepared for the vulture-like head to duck in and out. He pulled the trigger of his rifle and fired a shot at it, but it would have time to suck back in and be spared a skull-splitting head ache.
"Damnit. Incoming hostiles!" He warned with a roar, snuggling the rifle up to his cheek and waiting for it to pop back in. The firs sign of a alien head or body, he'd fire a burst, to drive them back or kill.
"I can hold them long, we need a ship or another way out!"

The shot dinged against the wall where the dreg's head had once been. In the time after the Dreg vanished the Ghost responded to the Exo's warning. "Just give me a moment. This seems promising."
A moment might be pushing it for what the pair had as the door pushed open to reveal an entire squad of Fallen making their way in. The only thing that would stop them from being immediately overrun was the fact that they had to filter through the narrow entrance. That and the lone Exo with an assault rifle.

"You have two before I'm dead again." he replied, before standing upright, exposing himself. While it did bare him to the door, it did let him take full, unrestricted aim at the alien's pouring in. He pulled the trigger and swept the opening; he didn't aim for the center of mass, but rather their knee's. Better to trip more of them up by striking the leg's than only taking the first couple down with torso shots.
He emptied the entirety of the mag, then dropped down into cover and ejected it, lifting a spare from his hip. He slammed it home and racked the slide before lifting up again, taking shots at the (hopefully) tripped pile of writhing Dreg and Vandal.

The first dreg fell, it's writhing body kicked aside by the Vandal that followed. It too fell, though not before firing off a few rounds from its Shock Rifle. The next pair of dregs hopped the body and began to fan out, their pistols raised in preparation for the Exo to next appear behind his now charred barrel.
The Ghost continued its work, and soon had the engines of the jumpship roaring to life. It would still be another moment until he could board and make his escape, but it was a good sign nonetheless.

Rather than pop up from the tip, he leaned out the side and racked the doorway with a burst of fire, to try and keep their heads down before he ducked back in. Another blind fire over the top followed, and then he bolted towards the ship, moving behind a crate near it in a mad sprint.
"Time is up! We need to leave!" he yelled at the Ghost as he moved, head down.

One dreg fell to the sweep, as did another that was coming through the doorway at an inopportune time. The blindfire had little effect, the remaining Fallen under cover. A deep throated roar rang out behind the Exo as he left his cover, and if he chose to turn he would see a captain striding through the doorway.
"Just one more... Got it." The Ghost called, the ship lifting into the air as the Exo reached it. A half-second later saw him transported inside, saving him from the Fallen's shots. Turning toward a hole in the rooftop, the jumpship blasted out, curving out of the city at a low altitude to try and avoid as much attention as possible.
In the end the pair escaped mostly unharmed, their effects on the Fallen presence negligible but at least they were alive and headed to the City. It was time to learn what being a Guardian meant.
