Oskara smirked, pleased with Rena's choice of words, whereas Vorn shrunk and opened his mouth, closed it, opened again, and closed a second time, struggling to think of what to say in response. "No, I don't want to keep Trex waiting," he muttered, then continued to mutter to himself as he moved into the back room. Less than a minute went by before he returned, carrying a small, yet extremely vital part of the ship's hyperdrive. "Now there's just a matter of the payment. Five hundred credits for the part, as originally agreed upon."

Rena's fingers drummed along the counter while she waited, appearing bored. Just someone sent to collect something for another. She looked up to Vorn as he returned. "Was if five hundred...?" She shrugged, "Trex's credits, not mine. I'm sure he'll be back if you're cheating the price any, though I'm sure an honest shop keep such as yourself has no need to worry about that." She offered over the credits slowly, in case the shopkeep got the hint.

Vorn nodded simply, his wrinkles lessening at the sight of the promised credits. "Five hundred is well below the market price, all for a respected friend of Teemo the Hutt," he explained. "Be sure to thank Trex for his patronage, and let him know if he happens to need anything else, I would be happy to sell to him again," he ended, taking the credits and scurrying into the back room, leaving the HMRI out on the counter for the representatives.
Oskara took it and slipped it around a hook on her utility belt, letting it dangle until she could trade it over to Sasha to carry in her impressively packed backpack. "We'll need to move quickly. A paranoid merchant is likely to check in to confirm a pick up like that," she grunted, leading the way out of the shop.
"Hey! Get the part?" asked Sasha, surprised to see the two of them back so quickly. Oskara unhooked the HMRI and handed it over to Sasha, who carefully slipped it into a side pouch of her backpack.
"Nice, now all we need to do is break into a secure building." Pash didn't seem terribly optimistic about this whole plan.

Rena left the shop with a grin, gesturing to the part hanging from Oskara's belt as Sasha asked her question. "We got it alright. I'm almost starting to feel good about this." A sentiment that lasted up until Pash's comment. "I'm sure we'll be able to get through, right? I'm afraid that this part is probably going to be more up to you than myself. Breaking and entering isn't something I have... experience in." She gave the smuggler a reassuring smile.

Pash turned to look north, in the general direction of Spaceport Control. "You mentioned a side entrance earlier, right?" he asked, looking at Sasha. Breaking in that way seemed like a better option than trying to talk their way past the droid guards.
"Yeah, should be on the eastern side. I remember seeing it when I was scoping the place out for Oskara." It begged the question of how long ago the Twi'lek put this plan together.
"Sasha and Pash, you two will enter the building," she ordered, starting to lead them towards the Spaceport Control. "Rena and I will wait in the alley by the water tower. As soon as you release the docking clamps, you call us and run for the landing bay." If everything went to plan, they'd be aboard the Nighthawk and off this rock in no time at all.
"Aye, aye," replied Pash, not exactly looking forward to having to figure out a way to convince Overseer Brynn to release the docking clamps. She never really did like the smuggler's attitude, and liked to keep him waiting in the air, doing laps around Mos Shuuta, before finally letting him land. So much wasted fuel . . .
Not long after acquiring the part did it take for the renegades to reach the control building. As mentioned earlier, two droids stood watch at the front door, and as the group split off, Rena could see Sasha and Pash fiddling with a door on the side of the building, before her and Oskara turned down an alley. Oskara assumed a defensive position, leaning up against a stray crate and kneeling down to make herself more scarce.
"Now we wait."

Rena nodded as Oskara laid out their roles for this part of the plan. "Best of luck you two! Next time we see you, we'll have a ship out of here." She waved, following after the Twi'lek and into the nearby alley.
She stretched, settling down along the wall and hopefully out of sight. "Waiting huh? So then, you never said where we'll be taking the Nighthawk once we get off this dustball. One place is as good as another for me as long as we're free, and same seems to be said of Sasha but I doubt that goes for you. You seem the sort that has a plan for anything she does."

Oskara busied herself with her armor, checking her gear and making sure everything was strapped right and in working condition. She moved onto checking her weapons as Rena started probing her with questions. "You talk a lot," she commented, not as a good or bad thing, just as a statement of fact.
"Honestly, anywhere is better than Tatooine." She looked up from her gear to survey the sky. Cloudless, and blue for what seemed to stretch on forever. Luckily they were in the shade of the alley, and couldn't feel the full scorching heat of Tatooine's twin suns. "I'd be happy to relocate to Ord Mantell, or move close to the Core. While it's not entirely pleasant, the closer we are to the Empire, the further we are from Teemo."

Rena shrugged at Oskara's observation, listening to the woman's answer with some interest. "Core worlds huh? I'm from there originally, you know. The Beltraan system. It could be nice to see it again, but I don't think I'm quite ready for home yet."
She took the downtime to open up her bag and make sure everything was still in one piece. Nodding in satisfaction, she zipped up the duffel and peeked out of the alley. "So from here we're just making a straight run to the ship right?"

The Twi'lek nodded, pausing in her inspection to adjust her lekku, wrapping one around her neck like a scarf and having the other drape over her breastplate. "As soon as Pash and Sasha give the signal, yes," she answered, setting her comlink beside her to wait for the chime of an incoming call.
Unfortunately for Rena, Oskara wasn't a terribly personable individual. She seemed like the type who wanted to get the job done, and then move onto the next job.
After a few more moments of awkward silence from the Twi'lek, her comlink began to chime, and she answered it almost immediately. "Status?" A brief pause followed, then Pash's voice rang out over the com.
"I uh―I have some good news and some bad news," he started, sounding worried. "Good news is we got the docking clamps released. Bad news, well . . . Lieutenant Marnel just landed in landing bay besh," he mumbled, drawing a snarl from Oskara.
"This complicates things. Get to the Nighthawk immediately, and watch out for Stormtroopers," she commanded, rising to her feet and brandishing her rifle again.
"Don't have to tell me twice. Meet you there, Pash out!" the pilot replied, ending the call.
"We need to move. Lieutenant Marnel is with the Empire, and has some less than legal connections to Teemo. He probably called in a favor and now if he's here, we can expect Imperial soldiers at best, Stormtroopers at worst." She started out towards the water tower, relying on the crowds of Mos Shuuta to give them cover against the eyes of the Empire.

"Lieutenant Marnel?" Rena started to ask, though she got her answer soon enough. "...Teemo has an Imperial officer in his bed?" She seemed truly surprised, she'd given the hutt little credit beyond a petty tyrant. "Well... that's just great."
She didn't say anymore, only taking the time to make sure her bag was securely attached before quickly moving with Oskara into the crowds once again.

Oskara led the way, her fear cleanly painted on her face. Tangling with the Empire was the last thing she wanted to do here, especially on the final stretch of the plan. "I've met him once before. He may as well be half-Hutt for how he acts." The Empire wasn't entirely known for its gentle touch, and if there was an official who was on par with the Hutts, he was well on his way up the social ladder.
As the two moved around the water tower, suddenly the crowds thronging the streets parted, and behind them Oskara looked and saw a chilling sight: three soldiers in the white armor of the Empire's elite ― Stormtroopers. As she saw them and picked up the pace, one's voice broke through the crowd, sounding mechanical through his armor's speakers. "There they are," he croaked. "Get them!" As Oskara turned to escape, a second group of three stormtroopers approached from a side street. The way to landing bay aurek was still open, but it was open territory, where they had no cover to protect themselves from blaster fire. Oskara took that chance and charged forward.

Rena hardly looked confident as she followed Oskara through the crowd. Right up until the crowd parted on them at least. The men in white would have stood out clearly even without the bubble of space around them. Then came their well known voice.
"Shit." The woman immediately turned to follow Oskara, only pausing as the Twi'lek left the safety of the crowd. "Shit shit shit. Really?" She started sprinting as quickly as she could across the empty space toward the landing bay.

The stormtroopers lined up their shots, taking aim at the more dangerous target, whereas two aimed for the blue haired woman. "Don't stop!" cried the Twi'lek, charging past a scurrying group of aliens.
As the firefight broke out, Rena and Oskara were fortunate to have some members of the crowd still in the way. Blaster bolts whizzed by their heads and bodies, and with each shot the stormtroopers worked in tandem to ensure the prime target was taken down. Four focused on Oskara, whereas two tried to nail Rena. Luck was on their side, for all of the shots were missed, and they gained absolute cover as they turned into a side alley, having a clear shot for the hanger.
In the distance the two could gear com chatter. "They're headed for the landing bay! All units engage on landing bay aurek!" sounded the Imperial coms, and in the distance, too far to get a clear shot, but close enough to notice, more stormtroopers were pouring in.
"Get to the ship!" cried Oskara, moving quickly despite her thick and heavy armor. "Pash! Get that bird airborne!" she barked into her comlink, hoping that Pash was already on board.
As they pass the threshold of the large, pourstone hanger, they see through the open hanger doors the Nighthawk, in all her glory, with its loading ramp lowered and Sasha at its base, waving at them and energetically encouraging the two to board the ship. "Come on!" she cried, running up the ramp and readying to close it as soon as they two made it on board.

Rena hardly needed Oskara's urging to keep running, the blaster fire handled that motivation for her. As shots whizzed past her head, she yelped, ducking lower and pushing as hard as she could. Rounding the corner was hardly cause for relief as still more of the troopers were pouring into the streets after them. "You... have got... to be kidding me..."
Finally the Nighthawk was in sight, Sasha waving them on. One final push and she was on the ramp, taking the last few steps onto the ship proper. Finally safe, she collapsed against the wall, trying to catch her breathe after the extended sprint.

As soon as Rena made it into the ship, following right behind Oskara, Sasha hit the ramp control and brought the boarding ramp up. Before it could even finish closing, Pash was already lifting the ship off the ground, and in the final moments before the ramp was sealed, several stormtroopers made it into the hanger and opened fire on the Nighthawk. "Get us out of here, Pash!" Oskara cried, rushing down the hallway to the cockpit. "Sasha, get me that HMRI!"
Sasha did as she was told, removing the device from her backpack and handing it over to the Twi'lek. The Nighthawk thrummed as it took off out of the hanger. Soon, Mos Shuuta vanished behind them as they raced out over the Dune Sea, and climbed towards outer space.
Just as suddenly as the stormtroopers had appeared, an alert klaxon blared. As Pash pulled the light freighter out of Tatooine's atmosphere, several spherical starfighters with distinctive hexagonal wing assemblies appeared on the ship's scanners, screaming in on an intercept course ― TIE fighters! The starfighters shoot past, laser cannons blazing, causing sparks to fly from a console in the cockpit as the bolts thud against the Nighthawk.
"We're not clear of the planet's gravity well yet!" cried Pash over the intercom. "Someone get that HMRI installed, otherwise we can't make the jump to lightspeed!"
"Change of plans," Oskara grunted, looking back to Sasha. "Take the igniter and install it. I'm going to man the guns." Turning about, Oskara charged down the hallway yet again, this time stopping in the cargo bay and taking the ladder down to the underside turret.
With her new orders, Sasha dropped her backpack in the cockpit and raced to the engine room, right above the boarding ramp. She huffed and hawed, trying to figure out just where she needed to install the device. Starships were not her forte.
