Rena just continued to try and catch her breath as everyone around her burst into motion. There wasn't much her talents could do in a ship. As far as she was concerned this was Pash's show, and apparently Oskara's as the Twi'lek collected the HMRI.
Those thoughts lasted all of ten seconds it seemed, as the ship suddenly shook under fire. The next thing she knew, Sasha had the part and the other two women were running off. "Right. I'll just stay here and... guard the... ramp." She closed her eyes, taking another breath. "...I don't want to die out here."

The ship lurched suddenly, shuddering as it broke through the atmosphere of Tatooine. "Taking evasive maneuvers!" cried the pilot, the general feeling of the ship spinning and twisting in space coming over the crew, but thanks to the artificial gravity they weren't being thrown every which way.
If only Rena had been in the cockpit, then she would be painfully aware of how much Pash was in his element. He flew through space like it was an intricate dance, having mastered the steps and putting his dance partners to shame. He flew circles around the TIE fighters, buying Sasha time to install the HMRI, and eventually spun about, pulled a sharp turn, and led one of the TIE fighters into the line of fire from the other.
Oskara was quick to act afterwards, spinning the laser cannon around and lining up her shot. Despite Pash's fancy flying, she seemed to be in her element as well, and with the perfect timing she caught the TIE fighters as they crossed by one another, taking out the damaged one and severely damaging the other.
"Nice one!" hollered the pilot, glad to have someone extremely competent watching his back for once. If Oskara was on the other side of things he would've been a dead man, no questions asked.
"How's that installation going?" asked the bounty hunter, and from somewhere inside the engines Sasha groaned out a response.
"Almost got it! I think?" As she finished speaking the ship let out a loud humming noise, the hyperdrive finally activating and spooling.

The ship shifted beneath her feet, but this time the ship didn't shake from blaster fire after. Slow and steady, Rena made her way up toward the cockpit at the far end of the ship, getting a wonderful tour of a cramped hallway and a bunch of doors.
She did get her first real view of Pash in action though, saying nothing as she stayed back by the door to look out the viewport. It was clear that the smuggler was in his element, but it was also clear that he was focused on what he was doing and she had no desire to break that concentration.

If Pash noticed Rena enter, he certainly didn't say anything about it. He was too focused on flying the ship, as well as falling in love with it. Of all the ships he had flown, this was certainly his favorite. Any smuggler would've killed for the opportunity to fly a HWK-1000, and here he was, at the helm for what could well be indefinitely.
The dogfight eventually came to a close, Pash's fancy flying putting him five steps ahead of the TIE fighter, and always lining Oskara up for a fine shot. The TIE tried in vain to hit the Nighthawk, but as it came close it reconsidered, opting to twist and spin out of the way, forcing Oskara to jerk her swiveling turret to correct for the sudden move. It didn't help him in the end, as his ship erupted into bright light just like his compatriots.
"Sky's clear," Pash reported, glad to be rid of the TIEs. Letting out a sigh of relief, he centered the Nighthawk and slowed her speed from Tatooine to a more casual and less straining pace. "Orders, captain?" he asked, then grimaced, as if the word tasted funny on his tongue.
"Prepare the jump to hyperspace," Oskara replied, already back in the cockpit. "Bring up the ship's navicomputer and send us to Ord Mantell, I have contacts there that can help us hide from Teemo, until this all cools down."
"Yeah, because Hutt's are quick to forget about being betrayed," scoffed the pilot, but he carried out Oskara's orders anyway. For the time being, as he went through the systems, they had some time to breathe.

Rena watched the finale of the fight unfold, Pash in complete control. "...Wow." Was all she had to say as the final tie blew up. She slid out of the doorway, moving to one of the passenger seats behind the pilot. "You... did all that on your first flight with this ship? You are.... I am very glad you're at the helm."
She turned as Oskara's voice came in behind her, surprised at how quick the Twi'lek had made her way up to the front. "Ord Mantell..." She mused on the idea, it'd be her first trip toward the Core Worlds since she'd left. "What sort of people are these contacts?"

Pash swiveled in his chair, hooking his arms together and behind his head. "I wasn't Teemo's prized pilot for nothing. You won't find a better pilot this side of the Outer Rim, or the other side, once we get there," he joked, amusing himself more than anything. Oskara certainly didn't look too entertained.
"My contacts are associates of the Bounty Hunter's Guild. The Guild will be able to take us in and give us work while everything blows over," she explained. Pash opened his mouth to make a comment, but quickly thought better of it, instead focusing on plotting their course out of the Tatooine system.
"Uh, small problem," he said after a long pause, frowning at the number of warning alert icons displaying on the navigational computer's VDU. Before he even had time to think about what meant what, a loud klaxon began to wail and the sound of a dozen snorting and growling voices could be heard echoing over the ship's PA system. The Nighthawk also began to shudder and shake; clearly not all was well aboard the stolen freighter.
If the noise wasn't bad enough, a rank smell began to permeate the vessel, having gone unnoticed during the chaos of their flight off Tatooine, but now that they could afford to sit still for a moment it began to assail their senses.
"We've got errors on the VDU," Pash said loudly, trying to speak over the grunting from the PA system. A large flashing red script in the center of the screen ― "Fuel Low". A small flashing icon in the shape of a crescent moon, or fang. An irritating and intermittent pop-up in Trandoshan script. And last a flashing red icon in the form of a simplified cage.

Rena's thoughts were interrupted by Oskara's answer. "...The Bounty Hunter's guild? I'm not certain that's a gr--" She was cut off by the sudden call of alarms and... whatever that was on the PA system. Her eyes flit to the screen, not sure what to make of the the various flashing warnings.
"Uhm... Captain?" She looked to Oskara, awaiting direction.

Pash grumbled as he tapped away at the screen, trying to find a way to shut off that infernal racket. "I swear, I'm going to find out whoever invented Gamorrean Opera and kill their offspring," he threatened, first turning off the blaring klaxon of the low fuel warning, then after some struggling getting the music player to shut down as well. "The whole thing is running Trandoshan software, I can't read half of what's on the screen, only the vitals are in aurebesh," he complained. Computers were not his thing, flying was.
"Sasha! Find out what reeks so bad!" barked the bounty hunter. "Help Pash here understand the navigational computer if you can translate Dosh," she grunted, then stormed out of the cockpit.
"All right, "music" is off and the low fuel is just flashing at least. Now there's this . . . claw shape? And a cage to deal with." After a small pause the pop-up reappears, and Pash groans angrily. "And then this thing that won't go away!"

Rena nodded at the order, moving to the co-pilot seat in an attempt to get a better view of the screen and its symbols. She wasn't a thief, a fighter or a mechanic, but she was an academic at heart and now she was getting a chance to use her mind. "Alright... let's see what we got here..." She decided to start with the pop-up, once that was gone it'd be easier to work with the others.

Focusing on the popup, the words glared back at the pair in an angry, almost primitive looking script. Dosh wasn't a very elegant language, but it had its ties in Basic and some similarities with Huttese as well, making it easy to translate if one knew what they were looking for. The translated text read:
Delivery notice: Cargo destined for client TEEMO still on board. Cargo type: WOOKIEE SKINS. Cargo location: MAIN CARGO BAY. "What's it say?" asked the pilot, unable to make a lick of sense from the apparent gibberish on the screen.

Once she had the pop up broken down and understood what it was trying to say she probably read it three more times over in the hopes that she had it wrong. "It..." She started, looking over to Posh, "...It says we still have some of Trex's cargo on board. Cargo meant for Teemo. It's... wookie skins."
Shaking her head, she looked at the other two symbols, her newest concern was the cage. Given the news that cargo was still on board, she wondered what else the trandoshan might have in stock.

Pash went pale in the face, desperately wanting Rena to be wrong. Still, he had to go under the assumption that she was right, and so he tapped the intercom button and spoke to Oskara and Sasha, wherever they were. "I think I know where that smell is coming from. Trex has . . . wookiee skins in the cargo hold."
No response came back, but none was really needed either. Silence spoke volumes.
ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Captive militant B'UARA B'AN still on board. RECOMMENDED RESPONSE: Return to Mos shuuta and collect bounty immediately. LAST FED: 6 hours ago. LAST REFRESHED: 8 hours ago. As Rena went through the different alerts, she felt herself understanding the language more and more. Whatever remaining alerts were left, they'd likely be a breeze to translate at this rate.

Rena's eyes scanned the symbol. She was glad to see that the rest of the crew felt similar to her in this, it was comforting to know that this band of rogues wasn't without morals. This time it was her turn to pale.
"...Shit!" She didn't even wait to translate this one to Pash, instead pressing the intercom button herself immediately. "Bigger worries! One of his bounties is still on board. One B'uara B'an, I'd make sure he's under control if we don't want a nasty surprise."
"Okay... one more..." She turned to the final symbol, maybe one of these wouldn't be horrible.

Blinking, the pilot looked over his shoulder, down the hall and towards the cargo bay. "Great. Black market goods and dangerous criminals, just what we all wanted, right?" he groaned, speaking just to Rena, rather than over the intercom.
The final symbol was potentially the worst, depending on how you looked at it.
Transponder operational. Receiving signal: Teemo, Mos Shuuta, Tatooine. Emitting coded response.
87 . . . 72 . . . 6 . . . 51
83 . . . 78 . . . 6 . . . 51 A bit of deep thinking and the numbers began to make sense. Interstellar coordinates, which were being updated and emitted every five seconds, giving away their position. Despite her best efforts, there was no visible way to turn off the transponder, but she was able to find its location, on the aft of the ship. Removing it in space would be impossible, and they would have to land before they could remove it.
With some technical work, she could maybe delay the five second update, and give them a wider range between updates.
Meanwhile, while Rena was fiddling with the console, Pash turned his attention to a separate console, trying to key in a destination so that they might refuel. "Another problem, Captain," he started over the intercom, "Trex isn't too keen on keeping his nav computer up to date. We've only got six destinations we can jump to, Christophsis, Geonosis, Ryloth, Trandosha, Kashyyyk, and Tatooine," he went on, listing a very small range of planets. "Ryloth sounds like our best bet, if we're going to refuel and get the Nighthawk repaired."

Translating everything prior made the final part go quick. Of course once she saw what it was, she immediately regretted it. "...There's a transponder. We're being tracked. Teemo knows where we are... and wherever we go... I know where it is but.... I don't see any way for us to get it until we land." She didn't immediately translate that, simply relaying it to Pash.
"I'll... I'll see what I can do. Maybe I can at least mask the signal a bit... Slow it or... something." She turned back to her own console, seeing what she could do from there.
