Nesune pauses before speaking, glancing at Kali with an unspoken word. "That will be more than acceptable," she replies to Niuk in unaccented Basic. "Twelve hundred now, the rest at our destination." She pulls a credit slip from the left sleeve of her robe, sliding it across the table toward the sullustan. "As agreed. I wouldn't want to linger on the station for more than a day before we depart. As you can see, we travel light."

As Nesune slid the credit stick across the table, Niuk's twi'lek assistant, likely his first mate, leaned over the table and snatched it up. She inserted it into her datapad, withdrawing the proper amount of funds, before setting it back onto the table and flashing Nesune a friendly smile. "Push ta pankpa neechu. Jee mo push bu niboba,"1 the sullustan says in a hushed voice, directing it towards the twi'lek. She nods, then turns about to leave.
"Ship leave one hour. Jeedai fortunate to meet Niuk," he says, smiling smugly to himself. "Hanger Two-Two-Bee. Meet before leave, but after . . . ten minute. Need share detail with crew. No questions," he nods, running a finger over his lips to gesture for silence. With that, he makes to turn about, headed for the exit as well.
Language: Huttese 1"Get the ship ready. I will give them details."

Kali had sat quietly through most of the discussion. Half of that was a lack of understanding, half was just letting Nesune handle the negotiations. Still, she did her best to pay attention to what she could understand and try to figure out the rest from Nes' answers.
Nonetheless it was only after the sullustan started to take his leave that she leaned over toward Nes. "So that went.. well? I think... We have a ship now right?" She rakes a hand through her hair. "At least with this we'll be on Dantooine soon enough... I guess you were right about being guided here... The Force really does seem to be with us on this."

Nesune bows her head to the pair before they depart. "Thank you. We will meet you there. One hour." She turns to glance at Kali, nodding at the Padawan. "A ship. It seems serviceable enough, for our needs. They'll be departing the station in the next hour." She leans back in the chair, slipping the credit chip back into her sleeve. "The Force leads where it will. The sooner it leads us to Varin, the better I'll feel."
She gestures to the cantina, then looks back at Kali. "If there's anything else we need to handle on the station, we'd best do it now. I'm sure they wouldn't wait long past their departure time, even for us."

Kali dips her head in a nod, “...An hour on the station? I don't know what we were looking for beyond a ship...” Shrugging, she leaned back into her seat. “...I can't think of anything I have to take care of here, unless you had something you still needed to look into Master?” She looked up to Nesune as she finished speaking, “...As you said.. sooner we reach Master Varin the better...”

The Jedi looks back to Kali, shaking her head. "No. We've got what we came for, unless you wanted something to drink before we left." Nesune rises from the bar, lifting the hood around her head. "The Force works in mysterious ways, little one. Though I didn't expect it to guide us to something so easily. Perhaps our voyage will be equally restful." She walks toward the exit, pausing for Kali to catch up.

Shaking her head, the young padawan follows quickly after Nesune as they exit the cantina. "It's been pretty restful so far... Though I suppose that's been the easy part... Imperial space..." She trails off, sighing. "...The Force is with us on this it seems. Shall we head to the hangar master?"

Despite what they might think, the Force may very well be with them, but when it comes to the minds of mere men, they are rarely swayed by the influence of the Force. After departing from the cantina, the two Jedi would make their way about the station, counting each hanger that they passed, seeking Hanger 22B.
19A . . . 20A . . . 20B . . . 20C . . . 21A . . . 22A . . . nothing. End of the line. Not a single hanger after 22A, and despite any amount of desperate searching, the two Jedi would not find such a hanger as 22B. Even when approaching one of the droids and asking them for directions, they would claim that there isn't, nor was there ever a Hanger 22B.
Nesune, suddenly deeming it wise, checks her credit chip with her datapad, viewing the records. Statements indicate that all of her funds were removed from the chip, though there was no reason why.

Nesune looks toward the bulkhead where 22B would be, finding the empty space. Shaking her head, she half-closes her eyes, a thin smile flickering on her mouth. "Echuta," she murmurs, looking toward Kali. She fingers the credit chip in her sleeve as she leans back against the bulkhead. "Well. It seems our journey became more interesting."

Kali looks around the hangars with clear confusion. "...They lied to us." She grasps after a moment. "We paid for a ship and they just took it and ran...?" A sigh escapes her, "...I suppose you were right about it seeming too easy... But what do we do now? We need to find a ship to Dantooine and your credits are..."" Shaking her head, she looked around again, as if the walls contained an answer.

Leaning against the bulkhead wall, Silas Sedgewick looks up from her datapad, narrowing her eyes and scanning the two Jedi up and down. Considering the frustrated smile on the taller woman's face, and the gasping voice of the smaller, somewhat rotund woman, Silas could only assume one of two things.
"Lose something?" she asks, pushing off against the wall and strolling closer to the two women. Most spacers would avoid what looked like an angry Jedi, but Silas knew better. Jedi weren't allowed to get angry. "Let me guess," she starts, looking over to the nearby hanger entrance, then to the empty bulkhead wall. "Hanger 22B?" she grins, fighting her hardest to hold back a laugh.

Nesune glances toward Kali, about to speak before the woman speaks up. "...only my pride," she tells Silas, shaking her head. "Though from that, I take it I wasn't the first in this situation." She tucks her hands in the sleeves of her robes, bowing her head toward Silas. "For some reason, I think I should've just bought my own ship. I had a hunch the offer was too good to be true."

Kali would turn to look up at the newcomer, taking a moment to try to appear calm. You know, like Jedi are supposed to be. She doesn't quite succeed though, "...What? We uh..?" She goes quiet, opting to let Nes respond first. "...So this has happened before then?"

Silas nods in response to the smaller girl, though now she didn't restrain her laughter, chuckling out in amusement at the entire situation. "I've run into a few other saps throughout the week, who all fell for their little scam. They've got a whole group running it," she explains, then nods up at one of the surveillance cameras. "No two partners work the deal more than once per station or spaceport. It's not a bad system, but . . . here's a tip from an old spacer. Never offer half or the full price up front. And make sure you're on Corellia when you land, and not Naboo. There's more to a planet than rolling green hills."
With that, she extends her hand to Nesune. "Captain Silas Sedgewick. You two are?"

Nesune takes the offered hand to shake, nodding at Silas. "Nesune al'Saar. This..." She gestures to Kali, "...is my companion, Kaliendra Airadale. We're seeking passage off the station on some business of ours. We'd hoped that..." She shakes her head, tucking her hands back into her sleeves. "I suppose it's too late to hunt them down and challenge them to a round of pazaak to get my credits back."
