Tilting her head to the side, the smuggler eyes Nesune's hip. "Pazaak? Sabacc is a real man's game, played for hard credits. Plus, I think you've got a better tool for negotiation than convincing goons to play card games," she smirks, making a Jedi Mind Trick hand wave at Nesune. She's seen them before. "But yeah, far too late. You'll be lucky if you ever bump into the two again, I imagine," she sighs, sounding almost disappointed.
"Well, nevermind that. Tell me, al'Saar and companion, just where in the galaxy are two Jedi so desperate to get to that they'd pay scum for a ride?"

The Jedi glances back at Kali, then turns to Silas. "It's not to be used frivolously. I prefer relying on my own skills rather than... other means." Nesune chews her lip, studying the woman's features. "Pardon me for asking, Captain, but how do I know if you are more trustworthy than the scum you look down on? Being fooled twice, and all."

Kali gives a frustrated sigh, "Of course not... We're uhm... heading t-" She cuts off at Nes' statement, quietly looking Silas over. "...What would she have to steal from us? Didn't we just lose everything to... them..." She gestures vaguely to the wall at an imaginary hanger 22B.

Silas shrugs casually, stuffing her hands into her trench coat pockets. "You don't? I don't deal in trust. But . . . if it puts your mind at ease," she starts, shifting a bit to stand up straight, meeting Nesune in the eye. "I don't have nearly enough cards in my deck to fool two Jedi, an empty calender, and a need for credits. I've got a fast ship, and an itch to leave this station far behind," she claims. The way she fidgets, shifting her weight from one leg to the other, shows restlessness. An eagerness to leave.
"What'd your friend say? Dantooine? That's . . . pretty far out from here, but . . . three thousand credits. All to be paid once we land. Pitch in another five hundred and I'll see you both safely off Dantooine and . . . to some nearby spaceport, at least," she shrugs, shifting her gaze over to Kali. "There are many far more valuable things in the galaxy than credits, kid."

"...Dantooine, aye," Nesune replies, sharing a look with Kali. "It seems you have us at the advantage, Captain. We don't have much choice in the matter should we want to depart." She makes a gesture with her hands, shaking her head. "Though it seems they were somewhat better with splicing than I gave them credit for. My are, shall we say... unable to cover such a fee."
The Jedi turns back to her apprentice, studying Kali. "I can work for both our passage, if you need another pair of hands. It'd be the least I can offer for such a... receptive and willing passage to where we seek."

Kali blinks up at Nes, looking between her and the captain. "...I could pay. Uhm... it wouldn't leave us with much but... If it got us to Dantooine and back out of Imperial space... It'd be worth it, wouldn't it?" She looks up to Nes questioningly.

She perks a brow at the smaller woman, but nods nonetheless. "Credits are credits. Don't rightly matter where they come from," she she shrugs, then glances to Nesune. "We agreed, then? I'll get you two to Dantooine and off it, and from there you're on your own about finding money. Gambling works, if you're good with a bluff."

Nesune looks back to Kali, arching her eyebrow at her apprentice. "I won't ask it of you, little one. Only if you're doing it yourself. Those are yours to spend." She nods toward Silas. "That seems agreeable. Though forgive me for wanting to see the docking bay and your ship before we commit. Recent events have taught me to be more... cautious." She gives an enigmatic smile, bowing her head.
"We can discuss matters on the way to the docking bay. But yes, we wish to travel to Dantooine. We wish to avoid any Imperial entanglements if possible."

Silas nods understandingly, turning on her heels and clearing her throat, signaling that the two should follow. "I imagine since you two were already here looking for the last ship, you're ready to go? If that's the case, you can follow me to the hanger," she says, nodding to the entrance of 21A, the hanger which she was leaning against before spotting the Jedi. "The Peregrine is a great ship. One of the finest and fastest in the sector. I'd wager the galaxy, considering how many races she's won," she muses aloud, boasting to the Jedi as she leads them in through the hanger door. There was still a long corridor to walk until they saw the ship, however.

Kali shakes her head to Nes, "...We need to get to Dantooine. This is the best way it seems... and at least one that I can afford." She follows behind the pair as Silas leads, "...Races? You race your starship? How uh... how long of a trip is it going to be? To reach Dantooine from here, that is."

Nesune follows after Silas as she gestures for Kali to accompany her. "Thank you, little one," she murmurs to her Padawan. "It seems the Force has another path in mind for us." The woman keeps her eyebrow arched at Silas, nodding in agreement as she listens to the captain's boasting. "Races don't concern me too much. Fancy yachts are also fast, but poor for service such as what you're describing. How long have you had the ship? And what services do you partake aside from helping stranded travelers in distress?"

The captain turns about as she walks, now striding backwards to look at both the women as she led the way down the corridor. "I'm not a racer, but the Peregrine earned quite a bit of fame during its time under Yersk Bel’ler," she claims. "He was a famous racer, before his fame got him in trouble with the gangs and they killed him. Lots of violent deaths with her," she grins, which was the exact opposite of response one should have about owning a cursed ship.
She looked to Nesune then and pursed her lips tightly. "I'm a privateer. Been working with the Republic for the past two years. Smuggling goods, ever since the start of the Cold War, in and out of Imperial space for the good of our good ol' Republic," she lies, though she lies well.

"Of course Master." She says, favoring Nes with a smile as she follows. She gives Silas a rather blank stare at the boast. "...The people who own your ship tend to... die?" Sighing, she continues along. "...I suppose that you know how to get us to Dantooine quietly then? If you've flown through their space before?"

Nesune walks along with Kali, keeping her attention for the most part on the ship's captain. "Who your clients are doesn't concern me so much as knowing what to do and where to go. From what I've heard so far, you at least have that going for you, Captain." She keeps quiet for the moment, continuing to walk and studying the station's corridor as they pass the other docking bays.

Silas nods at Kali, answering her question with the simple gesture, before turning about and walking normally the rest of the way. There were a mere twenty feet away from the hanger entrance, and beyond those doors was Silas' pride and joy. The Peregrine. A Corellian XS Stock Light Freighter, she was by all accounts at her prime, bearing only a few scratches and blast marks that had been left on her hull, rather than painted over.
"Ah, there's my baby!" she exclaims, picking up the pace and jogging towards the ship. "Jannik! We've got clients!" she calls out, before stepping onto the open ramp into the ship. "Feel free to admire her from every angle, if you want. We'll be taking off once you two are aboard, and then I'll give you the grand tour," she shouts, nodding to both the Jedi before disappearing into the ship.
"Hey, Jannik, quick moment?" she mutters, looking over eher shoulder to make sure the Jedi weren't on the ship yet. She was in the cargo hold, where the Rodian had been tasked with the duty of categorizing all of their cargo while she was out. "We're carrying a couple of Jedi. It doesn't pay too well, but we're slipping into Imperial space, and I figure I can squeeze a bit more out of them, if we get on their good graces," she explains. "As far as they know, we're privateers," she winks. "Do your best to act the part, and we won't run into any trouble."
