"Go out with Finn," she offered with a shrug. "No one says you should be holed up in the ship the entire time. Even if you two both swear up and down that you're just friends? Go out as friends. You two need the air and sunlight anyway," she teased, snickering to herself.

Cate stared at Silas blankly before bursting out into a laugh. "Me an' Finn? Come off it. I doubt he wants to leave this girl any more'n I do. Even if 'e did, he'd probably wanna just go lookin' into new parts or somethin'. I'll probably just catch a nap while you're all out like I usually do. Ya don't want me along for when we meet up with our wonderful client either, I ain't no actor."

Silas sighed out, a disappointed, almost frustrated sound. "Every time . . . every time I suggest you two should do something fun for once, you both shoot me down. Worse when you two laugh in my face about it," she frowned, sounding a bit hurt. "Nap if you want, but no one's keeping you here, and no one says you need to see Anders. Go shopping while us grim and grisly types handle him."

"Maybe if it weren't a silly suggestion..." Cate muttered, half to herself. Her attention had returned to Jack after the initial outburst, quietly puppeting the dog doll. "I ain't much for shoppin'. I got what I need right here. Give me one -good- reason t' go out there, an' I will. But as I see it, ain't nothin' I need planetside."

"Fun," offered the gunslinger. "There's more to do out there than there is sitting in here. Make friends. Try exotic drinks. Get lost and bunk with total strangers. Cause some chaos." She shrugged. "But . . . I know you're not the type. So . . . do what makes you happy, Cate. Just know if you ever feel like popping a pill and walking out on the town, I'm more than willing to show you around."

Cate sighed, "I have plenty o' fun here. I don't need to go traipsin' off. Like I said. Worst comes, I can catch up on some sleep, though I suppose that's not somethin' you'd be understandin'." She shot Silas a grin, "You have fun in The Wound. Whatever you're plannin' on doin' there, an' bring me back somethin' nice after your date."

Silas conceded. "All right, all right. I won't pressure you about it anymore. And hey, sleep is overrated," she teased back, leaning back in her seat as she lifted her legs off the dash. "You need anything to help with the next... two and a half hours or so?"

Cate gave another yawn, accompanied by a shake of her head. "I'm fine. Awake now. Just gonna put my focus in on gettin' us to Ferrum now. Got a few little corrections t' make, some checks to run an' then I'll probably be buzzin' the Finch-lady on where she wants us to be landin'. Not expectin' any trouble, it's only Ferrum."

Silas gave a lazy salute Cate's way before turning for the hall. "I think it's about time for me to be weak, then. Been, what, close to forty hours? Around there," she answered for herself, shrugging as she ducked out of the cockpit. "Good night, flygirl. Don't crash us."

"I ain't never crashed us yet. No more than you've gotten a full night's sleep." Cate grinned, "You enjoy your nap Silas, I'll be puttin' out a call once we're back in the Caspian System."
