Nesune steps through the portal to the docking bay, looking at the ship. "It seems serviceable enough," she muses to Kali, arms folded across her chest. "If she's what the captain claims, we may be able to enjoy an uneventful voyage." She turns to her Padawan, tilting her head close to Kali. "If you have any reservations on why we shouldn't pick this crew, I'd want to hear them. Otherwise..." She gestures to the loading ramp.

Kali tilts her head as she studies the ship. "I'll take your word on it. Not too great with starships..." Chewing her lip, she'd watch Silas run up the ramp before turning back to her master. "...She seems a bit... too eager to help. Don't you think?" She throws a careful glance over her shoulder. "...She does know Imperial space though... we need that. If she'll take us to Dantooine... and off of Dantooine... Do we really need anything else?"

The Jedi shakes her head, looking at the ship with a practiced eye. "She may be eager to be off because of a rendeavouz she needs to prepare for. Or trouble on the station, perhaps. Maybe it's cargo on her ship... or some cargo about to come aboard." She smiles thinly, glancing over at Kali. "I won't soften things, Kali. This... exercise, or voyage, or whatever you'd want to call it, there may be dangers. But I wouldn't bring you with me if I thought you couldn't handle the challenges that may find us. Trust in the Force, little one, and in yourself. You have greater skill than you give yourself credit for."

"I understand master..." She answers, giving a slow nod. "I'll try and meet your expectations... I won't fail you." Looking back over her shoulder at the ship she adds, "I suppose we shouldn't keep her waiting... or Master Varin. Do you know where we're going to start looking?"

Nesune shakes her head, trying to hide a smile. "It's not a question of failing, little one. That you follow yourself and learn from the Force, those are the lessons you take to heart. You've made great strides already, Kali. You have never disappointed me." She gestures to the loading ramp, starting into the ship. "Once we arrive, I want to find transport to the ruins of the Enclave. Our best clues to Varin's state line there, I think."

"Right, Captain." Jannik grunts at Silas, his basic heavily accented with a typical Rodian lisp. Putting down the datapad he had been working with, he straightens the ship-jacket he wore over his flight suit after giving a casual salute. "At least I look the part." he laughs as he checks his weapons, never one to let down his guard--especially around do-gooders and Jedi. "I just need to finish the inventory of the last few containers then I will have a look at our clients--maybe they will provide a good challenge!"

Silas narrows her eyes at the Rodian, folding her arms tightly over her chest as she does so. A typical reaction to Jannik's need for a challenge. "They're Jedi, of course they'd be a challenge," she scoffs, as if the very notion of pathetic Jedi seemed utterly inconceivable.
"Furthermore, they're clients. Not for shooting," she growls. She had to put on the growly face in order to convince Jannik of all people not to do something. "We're getting them to Dantooine, then after that, we're . . . carrying out our business with Issulla." She sighs at that, as she did not want to have anything to do with that corpulent hutt. But, bounty's are bounty's, and when you owe someone like a hutt money, you make sure to pay it back. With double interest.

Jannik managed his best approximation of an innocent smile, "I wasn't going to shoot them, honest!" And taps off a series of figures into his datapad as he closes the last container, wrinkling his snout at the objects that had taken up time he could have spent cleaning his blaster, or something. "Hopefully we have all that that sleemo requires." Giving the container a kick, he scans his antennae around the cargo bay, and shrugs. "The harbormaster has the ship fueled and ready by now, we're good to go."

The captain nods with approval, nudging her Rodian friend and nodding for the exit of the cargo bay. "Shall we meet our most esteemed and honoured guests?" she asks, holding back an amused grin to the best of her ability. "Figure we can all exchange handshakes, then one of us give 'em the grand tour, while the other pilots the ship off this floating piece of junk." She looks to the general direction of outside her ship, as if she could see Carrick Station beyond it, and shudders. Compared to most stations, Carrick Station was very much so a Republic station. Lacking in all the things a good space station might have, if it was run by hutts and gangsters. Like all proper places should be.

Visibly relaxing at the thought of leaving the station, "I will be most happy once we are aweigh." He muttered as he followed Silas out of the docking bay. "Right. Best behavior then." He squared his shoulders, and put on a professional air as they exited the ship and saw the two Jedi.

* Nodding, Silas follows closely behind the Rodian, stuffing her hands into her pockets as she moves. At the boarding ramp, she pulls her hands out and bows lowly to both the Jedi, lower than the traditional bow for the Jedi Order. Whether or not this was an honest mistake or just farce was hard to tell. "Welcome, Nesune and Kaliendra both, to the Peregrine. This here is Jannik, my co-pilot and right hand in all things," she says, reaching over and gently patting Jannik on the back. "Come aboard and I'll give you the grand tour, while Jannik prepares us for lift-off."
With that, she steps aside for the two Jedi to board, then quickly slips in front of them, urging the women to follow as she made her way around the ship.
Leading them from the boarding ramp, the smuggler takes a left in the main hallway. The first door to the left opens as Silas taps on the keypad, revealing a fully stocked medical bay, equipped with not one, but two bacta tanks, as well as shelves of other medical supplies, two beds, and what appears to be an empty port for a droid.
Continuing the tour, Silas then brings the Jedi to the engine room, which she boasts heavy about. The engines were absolutely massive, at least half an extra size required for the average freighter. She spat a stream of technological specifications, all of which seemed to lead up to the simple fact that the ship was fast. It was also equipped with a top of the line hyperdrive, which would get them just about anywhere in the galaxy as quickly as possible.
From there, the crew quarters were not far off. Once inside, it was clear that there was room for both the Jedi on the left side of the room. Two bunks were visibly open, and that side of the room was relatively bare. On the right, it was painfully clear that Jannik had made his nest there, taking the top bunk for himself, and using the bottom bunk to hold crates and other personal things.
Further along in the tour, Silas brought the two to the cargo hold, which was stocked with crates on top of crates. They had a full load, and the captain explained it was all to be delivered to a hidden Republic base, deep within Imperial space. With that knowledge, anything could be assumed about the contents of the crates, ranging from weapons and armour to medical supplies.
Adjacent to the cargo hold was the kitchen area, which was stocked with several cabinets, and a counter for preparing meals, three empty seats along the wall, and a large screen on the far wall, which was currently displaying the recent news over the holonet. Otherwise, there was a great deal of room to move about. "Figure you two might use this room for meditation, or your fancy space wizard fighting-stick training," she shrugged, making the generous offer to allow the two Jedi somewhere peaceful and relatively quiet to have as their own. The lights could dim and everything!
From there, Silas passed a closed door, and flashed Nesune a grin. She made the passing comment that if she ever wished to join her in her quarters, she'd know where to find her.
Near the end of the tour, Silas leads the two into a large common area. In the center was a massive holoprojector, which currently displayed an astral map. "It's fully equipped for any sort of user-interface, and it has access to the holonet, if you need to look anything up, or watch the latest holovids. I typically just keep the astrogation charts up, which . . ." she pauses, stepping over to the projector and tapping on a star. The chart zooms in on the system, and all of the sectors within it, and then a tap on a sector zooms into all the planets within. "It's updated with all the latest reports, so if you were to search for Coruscant, you could go over the maps of the areas, and browse the news tailored to each location," she shrugs, as if it were a simple thing. It was, in fact, far from simple. Such a device can reach prices up to freighters themselves, and no doubt either Silas or a previous owner had spent a good fortune on such a projector.
From there, she gestured plainly to the seating arrangements in the corner, which was a long couch and two movable chairs, all placed around a holotable. The table possessed the squares necessary to play dejarik, or other forms of holochess.
"You two make yourselves comfortable. I'm going to pop into the cockpit, which is . . . that long hallway over there. Oh, and across from that are the gunner ports. Never know when you might need to know about 'em," she shrugs, then makes her way towards the cockpit, where she assumed Jannik was, preparing the ship for lift-off.

Nesune slips down into the couch after the grand tour, the holochess table in front of her. "The engines wouldn't be out of line for one of the large cruisers," she tells Kali, slipping her lightsaber from its holster. "And there are some crews which would beggar themselves for even one bacta tank. Captain Sedgewick obviously does well for herself."
The Jedi inspects the cylinder, running her hands over the control interface with a practiced grace. "Training with the forms tonight, I think. It would do well to keep our skills honed and ready for whatever awaits."

Kali slides down onto the couch beside Nesune. "...I sort of gathered something like that from everything she said..." She looks up at the holoprojector, "Hopefully it all just means getting us there that much faster..."
She gives a sigh, "...Right. What forms will we be focusing on today? We haven't practiced much since we left Tython... Our last transport didn't really have the room for it."

"Shii-Cho, I think. More practice with the basic forms wouldn't be out of the question." Nesune looks to the Padawan, giving Kali an enigmatic smile. "I know you prefer your datapads and words to lightsabers, little one. But the Order teaches balance in all things. Simply knowing is only half of that. Knowing what you are capable of is far more valuable and extensive."
She reaches out, cupping her hand to Kali's cheek. "Two hours practice with the form after supper, once we're underway. Then we can put the Captain's holonet access to good use for you as a reward."

"Shii-Cho" She echoes, nodding up at the other woman. "I can do that. I know that it's important... Even if I wish it wasn't. With the Empire... we can't just be negotiators..." Leaning back, she looks down toward the cockpit. "...When do you think we'll be taking off?"
